About this grumpy site,

The Alexandria Chronicle is an independent publication launched in August 2025 by Parthicus aka Grumpy John. I'm John Walker, but my friends call me Grumpy John - not just because of my love for the infamous Grumpy Cat, but also because my resting face seems to have a permanent scowl. As a Cybersecurity student at Western Governors University and a Public Safety Officer at the University of Washington, I've got a lot to grumble about.

When I'm not studying or keeping the streets of Seattle safe, you can find me exploring new places and capturing memories with my camera. On this blog, I'll be sharing AI-generated pics and videos created from my vacation photos, so you can experience the world through my... um, grumpy eyes.

From the mountains to the sea, I've been fortunate enough to travel to some amazing destinations, and I'm excited to share those adventures with you. With the help of AI technology, I'll be generating new and interesting content that showcases my travels in a unique and creative way.

So grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and get ready to explore the world with Grumpy John as your guide. And don't worry if I seem a bit gruff - it's just my face.
